Surya's Agaram Foundation on Vijay TV

Surya is know to do some noble work and the latest we hear about him is that he has joined hands with Vijay TV under his Noble Trust foundation to help under privileged students for their education."Vidhai" is what they call this and Vijay TV entitled the name of the program has "Oru Koodi Oru thodakkam".The meaning for this Vidhai is generally Pongal is the time when harvesting takes place but thy want to cultivate some thing for this pongal and that is the reason why they had kept the title has Vidhai.

Surya under is Welfare trust banner Agaram has launched this and Vijay TV arranged for a program in which Surya and A.R.Murugadoss had come and along with that was Gopinath with Neeya Naana fame. Gopinath took care of the event. Surya explained about "Oru Koodi Oru thodakkam" in which he has got ten well wishers who have donated 10 lakhs each for the welfare of educational purpose for under privileged children who want to become has doctors,engineers and lawyers.
