Ajith’s fans are eagerly waiting for Mankatha release date. Sources said that the film will hit the screens on 1st May 2011. Earlier the Director of the film Venkat Prabhu said that “Mangatha is a war” film. So the media people said that the film will be similar to Billa. Immediately, Venkat Prabhu denied this news.

Now the latest news is that Ajith’s Mankatha Story is a gangster life and story goes around him. The Mangatha team is busy in shooting with hero Ajith and heroine Trisha. After finishing Mankatha, Ajith will do Billa 2.

Finally, the pooja for the film was over. The latest news is that the film “Mangatha” is a bilingual film i.e. in Tamil and Telugu. In the Tamil version Ajith is the hero and Nagarjun is doing an important role and in Telugu version Nagarjun is the hero and Ajith will do the important role.

Earlier Neetu Chandra was booked as heroine for the film. But due to Neetu Chandra’s match fixing allegations with the Pakistan trio Salmon Butt, Mohammed Asif and Mohammed Aameer, she has been replaced by Vinnaithandi Varuvaya heroine Trisha.

The film Mangatha is produced by Central Minister Alagiri’s son DayanidhiAlagiri in the banner Cloud Nine. Yuvan Sankar Raja is the music Director of the film. The film Mangatha is fun filled action movie like Venkat Prabhu’s earlier super hit film “Saroja”. Ajith is going to do the role of Lucky Bloke and Manoj Manchu the son of Telugu actor Mohan Babu will also act in the film.

Ajith 50th film "Mangatha" is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Neethu Chandra is the heroine of the film and Nagarujun plays a very vital role in the film. The movie is expected to be big blockbuster to Ajith. Ajith initially hesitated to do the film since it is a multi-starer movie. Well later the Director Venkat Prabhu some how convinced Ajith and told the importance of Nagarjun's character, after which Ajith agreed.

The latest buzz is the movie title "Mangatha" might be changed since there is no link for the movie title and its story. But the real scenario behind this is some one has registered the movie title in IPR (Intellectual Property Rights, so the Director is searching for a good tilte for Ajith's 50th film.
