If you follow these in your daily life, You will live a healthy and happy life.


  • Eat a balanced and varied diet.
  • You should consume foods within the basic food groups (cereals, fruits, vegetables, dairy, and meat), but choose foods that are low in saturated and Trans fats, cholesterol, added sugars, and salt. Choose lean meats and poultry and incorporate more fish, beans, peas, nuts and seeds for added protein sources.
  • Based on a 2,000 calorie diet, you should consume fats sparingly (less than 3 servings of high fat foods per day). Consume the following on a daily basis:
    • 5 servings of fruits and vegetables. These foods are high on vitamins and minerals
    • 4 or more servings of whole grain foods (wheat, jowar, bajra, makki and ragi etc.). These foods are high on fiber
    • 3 servings of high-quality protein (lean meats, beans, nuts, seeds). These foods also contain lots of available calcium and other essential vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids.
    • 3 servings of low fat milk or dairy products.

Answering mobile phone
1. Talk in the mobile phone, placing it in the left ear
2. Don’t drink more coffee
3. Don’t take medicines / tablets / pills in cold water
4. Reduce the intake of oil / fried foods
5. Eat like a beggar at night.
6. Drink minimum 5 liters of water in the day time and less water at night.
7. Use your headphones and ear phones short time only
8. Go to bed early by 10 p.m and wake up before sun rise.
9. Don’t go to bed immediately after taking medicine.

All we know “prevention is better than cure”. It is an old adage but nevertheless time true, especially when it comes to protecting your heart. The number 100 is important to be remembered for the following:

1. Keep your LDL cholesterol (which is considered “bad”) around 100 mg/dl. High density lipoprotein HDL is considered as good cholesterol which should be over 45 mg/dl for men and over 55 mg/dl for women.
2. Keep your triglycerides levels around 100mg/dl or atleast <150 mg.
3. Maintain a systolic blood pressure around 100 mms/Hg or atleast <130 mm/Hg.
4. Your fasting blood sugar should always be < 100 mg.
Remember that your consistent efforts to modify your life style are the only way to prevent a heart attach.

Importance of Water
You all know that without oxygen, we cannot survive. It is our life. Similarly, water is also essential for or body. What is new about it, you may say. Yes, it is there. I am making a recommendation for drinking water empty stomach.. In some countries like Japan it is taken as a treatment for disease. Keep water in a copper jug at night and immediately after waking up every morning drink as much quantity as you can. You may start with one or two glasses and increase it to 5-6 or more. You may brush your teeth, clean the mouth after drinking water, but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minutes. After breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours not even water.

This habit of drinking water on empty stomach can cure and prevent a large number of ailments such as headache, piles, diabetes, constipation asthma, etc. We do not take enough care of our body till the time we are sick to show to the doctor. Whether you are old or young every body needs to be healthy. Each and every organ of the body is important and we need to take care of our health in totality.

If you want to live a healthy life, you can take lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet. You can drink juices instead of solid food. The best juice is Beetroot Juice. I will give you the recipe here:

Small Beetroot - 1
Apple - 1
Pineapple chunks – 1 cup

Wash the beetroot well and remove the skin and cut into pieces. Wash the apple and cut into small pieces. Remove the tough skin of pineapple and cut into pieces. Put it in the Juicer add 3 spoons of sugar (if you need) and serve it cool. Children like it very much. This is good health drink. Try it.

During festive seasons like Deepavali, Pongal, etc. and occasions like wedding mehandi decorations are became the fashion today. Here I will give you some tips for hand care.

1. Use a good hand lotion as a matter of habit, when dressing up and going out.
2. Use a good hand cream every time you wash your hands.
3. It will be a good idea to keep your hand lotion handy in the bathroom, so that you have no excuse to make for noting using it that often.
4. Keep your nail-file, nail cutter and a pair of nail-scissors clean, to prevent any infection.
5. Keep changing nail-varnish at least once a week, and let your nails breathe for the night. Use fresh nail-varnish the next morning. Otherwise your nails will become stained permanently.
6. Give time to dry your nail-varnish, and don't put your hands in water for one hour after that.
7. Have a professional manicure at least once in a month.
