If you eat it with the skin it is very beneficial. Almonds are good for Heart and fights cholesterol, makes your bones strong, helps to control your weight, fight against cancer, and also good skin and hair. Almonds contain potassium, iron and manganese facilitate in circulating blood and it lower blood pressure.

Oats Rava Idli preparation

Oats Rava Idli preparation

Oats – 4 cups
Roasted Rava – 2 cup
Sour curd - 4 ½ cups
Green Chilli paste – 2 tea spoon
Finely grated Carrots – 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon
Oil - 4 tablespoon
Cooked green peas - ¼ cup
Cooking soda ¼ tea spoon
Finely fried cashew nuts – ¼ cup

Soak rava and Oats for 5 minutes in curd add salt to your taste.
Take a Tawa and fry mustard seeds and onion (if you wish), blag gram chili paste and fry for few minutes. Now add peas and small amount of grated carrots for few minutes. Then pour them in the rava and oats mixture and coriander leaves and cooking soda. Mix them well and keep it for 5 minutes. Now spread little oil in the Idli plates and arrange the fried cashew nuts in Idli plates and put grated carrots (if you wish) then pour the idli mixture over it. Steam cook for 20 minutes.
Serve hot with Sambar. This Oats Rava Idli is suitable for all age people and it is best diet for diabetic people.

Recipe Pesarattu Dosai

Recipe Pesarattu Dosai
Green gram / whole moong dal – 2 cups
Rice flour ¼ cup
Ginger small piece
Green Chillies – 5
Jeera – 1 tps
Onion – 2
Salt to taste

Soak whole moong dal / green gram in water for 4 hours. Then grind soaked moong dal / green gram with green chillies and ginger first then add rice flour and small pieces of onions and jeera by adding water till it comes to dosa consistency. If you want you can add some coriander leaves also in grinding the dosa batter. You can use the dosa batter (dosa mavu) immediately.

Take a nonstick pan, heat it. Spread little oil in the pan and pour a small cup of dosa batter in the middle of the nonstick pan and spread it evenly. Apply little oil on the edges and turn around. Serve hot with your favourite side dishes like Sambar, Chuttney. It is a very good diet for all including children, aged people and also to Diabetic patients.
